It was a good game. Estrada pitched really well but his offense couldn't come up with the big hit. Or you could say that Kluber made the big pitch when he needed to. Good stuff.

I would love to see the Cubs win it all, but Maddon almost makes me want to root against them. Maddon and Roberts should switch teams right now. LOL

 

Maddon got lucky. His team blew a 2 run lead after he pulled Lester, who was pitching very well. Maddon looks like a genius because the Cubs won. Had they lost, he is the one who would be getting scrutinized over his moves, rather than Roberts.

Kershaw is a bad man.

 

He's the best. He's nasty. When he has it all going, you just don't have a chance. Clayton Kershaw has thrown 302 pitches in the post season in a 10 day time frame.... That is what an ACE does. Jansen comes in and gives you a little more heat...ballgame. Jansen, is gas and more gas. He just pumps it in and says hit it if you can.. he comes after you which I like, doesn't mess around.

Seriously, Roberts almost makes me want to root for the Dodgers. I have said on here many times that if the Sox don't win it all, I want the Cubs to win it all, and I'm not even remotely a Dodgers fan, but Roberts has me feeling like it would be okay if the Dodgers won it all.

 

Either way, I'm rooting for the former Sox players, manager, and GM.
