Hill is through 7 innings of one hit ball, with 93 pitches.

He has to have the FO thinking...

I'd prefer to take a chance on him rather than spend the $13. mil on the perpetually injured Laptop.

At least sign him to an MiLB contract if possible or a MLB contract laden with incentives. He is a young 36 since his arm is rebuilt and has not been used in a while.

Depth.

I have no problem picking up Buchholz' option. I agree with the rest of your post. However, I don't think there will be room for him in the rotation to start the season, and I don't think he would be open to signing a MiLB contract, given the way he's pitched. Some team will offer him a major league contract.

He is definitely worth consideration though.

Who the hell is Rich Hill and why has he not been starting every single game ever?

The good news is, Breslow is starting tomorrow's game!

Is Breslow actually starting tomorrow?

ESPN has Breslow starting with and 0 and 3 record and 4.53 ERA.......... 4pm East coast time.........

It's a heavily hyped event...........

That catch by Mookie was glorious.

I don't understand why you guys rag on Breslow so much.

Yeah, he brings the suck as much as he doesn't. So do most of the Sox BP arms.

I like the guy, actually. He has an Ivy League degree.

I think it's just a gag. Lord knows we need entertainment this year.

Just because the Os feed did not do it justice, here is a link to Mookie's catch. The NESN feed covered it so much better, from several different angles, including a nice shot of the now famous bullpen policeman. Not to mention that Orsillo's call of the play was so much better than Thorne's.
