Ughh it drives me crazy to see this team play well. If only they did this from the beginning. There should be high expectations for this team next year.

It is encouraging to see the development of the young players and it is a welcome change to watch good baseball, but I will not let my hopes get too high for next season based on our August - September performance when there was no pressure on an out of contention team. I will get excited when I see the pitching being rebuilt.

I know where you stand. You have been very clear about the issue. I was wondering about the opinions of those who were less committed to trading him. I think he still adds more value playing for us than he would bring back in a trade. His contract is manageable. I think he will have a very big year next season.
