OK, not that it's a big deal, but why is it that anytime I respond with just "LOL", and I know I capitalize it, when it shows up in the thread, it is not capitalized? Oh, the things that keep me awake at night....

OK, on the topic of yesterday's game, kudos to Miley for pitching a great, complete game. I know it's the Phillies, but these days, that is quite a feat nonetheless. Also, despite the team's record, the kids are playing with a lot of energy and excitement. Great stuff!

Also, in the post of mine that you quoted, Asher was capitalized, but in your post, it wasn't.

Sure it does. That doesn't apply to everyone, but you know darn well that there are a good number of people who stop watching and following the Sox when they are not winning. Several posters here have even stated that they aren't watching the games anymore.

 

Not in any magnitude that affects the revenue, and certainly not enough to result in panic moves by the FO. Heck, Ben mainly sat on his hands during 3 last place seasons while the team's shortcomings were obvious to a blind man. Heck, the fact that the owners let him finish last twice and go after a third last place finish shows a lot of patience.

Yikes! I didn't notice that. I went back and looked, and the "I" in "I've" was also not capitalized in the quote. Weird.

It is a text filter setting, if you make a post with every letter capitalized, it changes it to lowercase. It's meant to save us all the annoyance of those who type with the Caps Lock key set permanently at "on".

That makes sense. It's odd that it goes back and decapitalizes words that have been quoted though. But not all words. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason for how the decapitalization is selected.
