I am so glad that Wade Miley gave Johnson advice.

I wonder if the advice was "hey kid, don't suck like me".

Farrell should just keep these kids away from our suck-ass veterans. Miley could only dream of having Johnson's curveball.

Hahahahahahhaha. I was thinking the same thing.

Orsillo's replacement is all excited. This is the first multi run inning and lead that he has announced. He got all excited on Papi's fly out.

He also said Altuve was one of the best defensive "second basemans."

I like his breaking ball, but his fastball is flat. He's not a cure for what ails you

Brian Johnson just got traded to the Yankees.

I like his breaking ball, it keeps hitters off balance. He's a great pickup for the team.

That is the difference between hustle and Hanley. Marusnick got hit pretty solid on the elbow. He didn't jump around and grab his elbow waiting for the trainer to rub it and give it a kiss. He popped up and ran like a bat out if he'll and kept going when he noticed our slugvof a leftfielder sauntering after the ball.

Did you see Hanley make that catch at the end of the 3rd inning where he went to the ground and looked like a turtle stuck on his back. This LF experiment has to end.

I know we joke about "DFA Pedroia!" and "DFA Papi!", but seriously... DFA Masterson. We were actually in this game when he entered. That changed in a big hurry. Can't imagine why we'd keep him on the roster at this point rather than letting some Pawsox hurler get a chance.

Once again, for the millionth time. Masterson was injured last year and pitched like crap. Why was Ben remotely interested in bringing him back, and for anything more than minimum wage. The onus was on Masterson to prove he could still pitch.

I don't know how Ben doesn't get fired.

Not his fault. There were unforeseeable consequences beyond his control. It's a freak thing. It's not like he ever finished last before this. Oh, wait...
