Who's down with a series win? It would be a 3rd straight series win... and a series win against the kings of the AL. At this point, that's all we need, right? If we take 2 steps forward, and only 1 back, eventually, we will get to .500. Throw a few sweeps in there and we're looking good. Bing, Bang, Boom, let's do it. It's a gorgeous Fenway day game. You know what that means.

 

 

The combined age of today's starters is 43, nearly thrice the age of yours truly, and just a couple years younger than my oldest sibling..

Cool. At least Napoli is being told that, unlike Drew, Farrell's man-crush on him is insufficient to keep him in the lineup with a .150 ave.

I wish one of the cutesy wootsey kid announcers would say "Now batting, Pablo Tub of Goo Sandoval." That would put an end to Junior Announcers Day.

As a team, we get too many guys thrown out on the bases.

 

Seems like half the time it's Hanley.

 

Also, De Aza just continued outing up good ABs, in really a fan of the way he's played

I'm pretty sure Hanley is stoned out of his mind during most of these games.

 

It's too bad, the Houston pitcher hasn't pulled it together yet, it would be good to jump on him.
