A roster with a lot of low rents. Can we f***ing stop running Ross, Breslow, Barnes, Aro out the bullpen?

Taz, Uehara, Ogando and Lane can't pitch 162 games.

Something is up with Porcello. Send him to the phantom DL and either let him heal, or fix his mechanics. He's had some mediocre seasons, but never this bad.

get the sinkers to work again. He's getting fewer groundballs and he could get away facing the AL Central lineup, just not in the east powerhouse.

Everyone congratulate Procello. Among al pitchers with at least 60 innings pitched, he has the worst era at 6.08. Quality pitching.

He is a #4/5 starter. That's all he has ever been and he has been in the bigs for 5 or 6 full seasons as a starter. Lineups like the Jays eat guys like that alive. It is completely unsurprising.

Yeah there is something wrong with him. He f***ing sucks.

DL isn't going to do anything for him.

So if he has been a #4/5 starter his whole career, why has he been pitching like AAAA trash? Something has to be off.

Agree. His career era + is under 100. He's been mainly a 4 who might be able to pitch like a fringe 2/3 guy when he's good. (And he is currently pitching like a 6).

When he straightens out, he will be a 4.5 ERA guy -- good enough to hold down the 5 hole if he can put up 200 innings. But that is all that he will be. He is in a real tough patch right now.

Porcello took us out of this game early. The players are not in the game right now so they are playing like clowns -- missing popups and forgetting the number of outs.

Probably a AAAA profile is what he is in the ALE. As I said since day one, He was a mediocre pitcher in the ALC but in the ALE, He will be destroyed.

Leave it up to porcello to end the streak. Joke. Cherington should be fired for that extension.

It's like the Jay Cutler extension, and the bears gm was fired for that one.

This is bad but it was predictable.

Something is seriously wrong with Porcello. He is way off of his game. And it's been this way all season.

I like Pal's idea. It can't hurt.

Wow, I just don't get what the sox saw in this guy. I wish I could not get fired and suck at my job.

The beautiful thing is that the FO itself insisted on f***ing with his repertoire. You reap what you sow.

There is something wrong with Ben too. Can we send him to Pawtucket to work things out?

In the meantime, Buehrle is 36 YO and he is still looking very good, isn't he, Pal? Edited by iortiz
