So I'm stuck watching the game on line again. This time I have the Atlanta feed. They were just saying that in SF Panda was weighed each day and that The Sox do not do this.

 

So, they say that Panda has gained 32 pounds since opening day!!! I have no idea how they got that number but you can see that he has become noticeably more rotund since he got here.

 

They should try to trade him.

Who knows? He did burn some bridges there. It is worth looking into.

 

The big thing is if the ownership of the Sox have the ability to admit they were wrong and act divisively to undue the mistakes. I doubt it.

Take it for what it's worth but a Giants fan was being sarcastic on an article about Panda being selfish (for wanting his 1,000th hit ball when the team was down 4-0), saying Giants fans are shocked to hear Panda is self-absorbed and me-first.

 

(That said I think the article was wrong to call him out on this).

Panda's deal isn't terrible, provided we paid a certain amount there's a chance of someone taking him (but probably not for 3B) but you'd have to fire Ben first. He's not going to admit to a mistake and give up on Panda.
