I'm all over Buch for the most part.

However, there is now way to ignore that he has been pretty good for a while.

Even pitchers that consistently perform well will throw up an occasional stinker.

Today it was his turn.

No excuse for the bats to be so silent.

Not a great start for Buchholz, but I liked that he fought back and got out of the bases loaded jam.

The Buchholz of earlier this year would have folded and given up 4 more runs.

Buch is like a box of chocolate.

I fully expect him to be outstanding right up to the moment he reverts to sucking.

Sox got this 6-4

GO SOX!!!!1!!!

Pretty darn close Spud!

How about a sweep for my anniversary?

Happy Anniversary MVP!

I'm glad the Sox could pull this off for you!

Nice play by Nap.

I think Nap's ability to field less than ideal throws is under appreciated by Sox fans.

Bad luck for Holt.

His defense is definitely underrated by many.

It wasn't even that bad an outing honestly.

No, it wasn't. You'd like to see him make it through the 5th at the very least, but he kept the team in the game.

He has been one of the best fielding first basemen for a little while now. Anyone underrating him, has missed seeing him play.

Xander "unclutch" Bogaerts, ladies and gentlemen.

LOL

On a more serious note, Xander is really starting to come around, both offensively and defensively.

I believe he now leads all SS in OPS.

How AWESOME is this people!! Everyone's hitting!! 7-4 Whooooo HOOOOO!!!

About as awesome as you can get! Finally! A late, come from behind win!

I just read that the Sox were something like 1-26 when trailing going into the 7th.

Now I get to rest on my laurels for about 48 hours.

You are the man Thunder!

There is NO stopping the Thunder mojo!

Great job!

He battled. He did not implode like he usually does.

Finally, the offense is able to bail out a starting pitcher in a less than stellar start.

A good win . Hope it starts a trend!

You would hope that a win like this would jump start the offense.

I agree CP.

Very happy here for Bogaerts. An All-Star! One of the top fielding ss in the game right now. Bat coming around as well.

Not the greatest game for Clay but he's been pretty solid his last few games so can't be to upset. Glad the bats came alive and bailed Clay out! Feels good to get a streak going finally.

I'm too young to legally buy lottery tickets.

I apologize for the string of posts. LOL

I'm just a little pumped up!

WOOHOO!

I think I'm more pumped up. When I left for my practice I had already prepared myself for the loss. When I got back, I could sense a comeback once Rusney went deep. I felt rejuvenated at that moment, but I don't think anyone was as pumped as Remy was after the Bogaerts double.

Thank you, everyone. I really needed this self-esteem boost. I hope this has changed the relatively negative perception of my mojo that once existed around these parts.

Didn't see the game today, but Buchholtz has battle through some games this year without his best stuff and people acting a fool on defense behind him. I'm back on the Buchholtz band wagon.

I had been thinking about the Kelly - Wright situation.

It was interesting how they used Wright today. And it was effective.

How about Wright ready to go when a starter falters early like today?

Of course this goes against what I said about liking knuckleballers out of the pen, but this would be a different kind of roll.

What a waste of time trading for De Aza was.

They should be only thinking about how to get Hamels nothing else. I don't want anyone else walking through that door even if these guys can be upgrades over Nava, Craig, et al. This ownership group will never win the big one. They need real baseball men!!!

I think Thunder might deserve his own fan club. This young man's mojo has grown in its potency and we should all be proud of him.

This is my new motto.
