Tie game in the top of the 11th and the Yankees walk in a run. Then, just to be hilarious, they walk in two more. Oh, and there was an RBI single, but that's not nearly as awesome.

Toronto can really twist the knife with a win in the second game. I think the Yankees should start planning who is going to start the WC game.

I believe the Jays scored 4 runs that inning on ONE hit. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I thoroughly enjoyed that.

It was a thing of beauty, like a waterfall or a coral reef, or the shootout scene in Django Unchained.

I am not familiar with the shootout scene in Django Unchained, but I'm with you on the waterfall and the coral reef.

I am fascinated by the power of water.

And Tanaka salvaged a game. We've lost our best hitter and probably our hottest pitcher for the rest of the regular season. We played over our head this year. I hope we can get into the great crapshoot and get hot

The Yanks turn to Sabathia to establish some momentum, which at this point is about the same as trusting Jeffrey Dahmer to cater your wedding. He probably won't get the job done, and if he does, it's going to be messy.

I'd like to see Heathcott get some ABs. Always liked him, has some good talent but just gets hurt. He's healthy now, time to time to steady bat a little until he busts out.

The problem is, where do you put him? Ellsbury is starting to look like his normal self. Beltran is hitting the s*** out of the ball. Gardner is probably our best all around OFer. And usually, our 4th OFer hits vs lefties and Heathcott is a lefty. My bet is he works in as a 4th OFer next yr.

Our old friend fatty Andy Bailey gave up a 3 run homer to Russell Martin in the 7th with 2 outs. Jays lead the Yanks 4-0. It is huge for the Jays that Stroman is back.

Stroman is the Jays answer to Severino. Young, hard throwing righty with lights out stuff. That kid has a bright future. I was hoping to take 2 of 3. Getting 5 shutout innings from Nova should have signaled Girardi to go with the best of the best, not Pazos and Cotham. That game last night ended the ALE race. Good thing we have a solid grip on the Wild Card

Tanaka is ready to take his turn in the rotation now that his hammy has improved. He should be lined up for the WC start. It will be his biggest start in a Yankee uniform

His hammy is improved, but he is still feeling it. It may or may not affect how he pitches, but it's something I'd be wary about.

They will probably have Pineda ready to come in right behind him. In fact Girardi will probably be setting up the entire staff for that game. As he should, it's the whole season now.

They are handling him with the kindest of kid gloves. If they are letting him throw, he is close to 100%. Not worried about his health for that game. Plus, he has another start prior to it to test it out. And yeah, it is an all hands on deck situation for that game. The good thing is, the Stros are falling out of it and they are the one team that I think can outpitch us in a 1 gamer. We cannot hit Keuchel. I am hoping for the Twins or Angels.

Bellhorn, Ellsbury is CLEARLY not right. I bet you will hear about arthroscopic surgery of some kind come the end of our season. And Chris Young is mashing lefties. For the rest of the yr, it makes sense to platoon him. Ells needs to get right in the off-season and give it a go again next yr

He was 3wins last year. He is just an average player this year. They're paying him to be 3-5 wins player. They'd be lucky to get 1 more year. Edited by Station 13

Prior to his injury, he was hitting .330 and was stealing bags left and right. He suffered a knee injury. He is noticeably slower since returing and is almost incapable of turning on pitches. He isn't right.

He did get off to a great start this year. He's fragile though. The Buchholz of centerfielders.

Refsnyder has been hitting well lately, hope to see him in the lineup more and more and ride his hot bat. Not saying he'll be a star but got to let these guys hit when they're getting hits.
