The Red Sox are The Mexican army and Arlington is the Alamo. They can put up as much of a fight as they want but we're still going to kill all of them.

A week ago at work, one of the waitresses forgot to put the ice cream on the plate for one of the desserts. As she was walking towards the dining area one of the managers reminded her to put it on. I said "remember the a la mode". No one laughed. Only one person even understood what I meant. I weep for the future.

Darvish will be tough, but if they win tonight, they have a great chance of winning the series. Hopefully we see good Buchholz tonight.

Weep for the present. The future always holds out hope. Presently, we are in the midst of generations of morons who know nothing other than texting, tweeting, and facebooking about the banalities of their lives as if they are advancing the causes of society.

While I'd like to think that the Red Sox should be able to roll right over the Rangers like a steamroller, Buchholz does seem to kind of have a monkey on his back lately. I guess we'll see how it goes tonight.

On this very night, ten years ago, along this same stretch of road in a dense fog just like this. I saw the worst accident I ever seen. There was this sound, like a garbage truck dropped off the Empire State Building... And when they finally pulled the driver's body from the twisted, burning wreck. It looked like this...!
