I fell asleep when it was 4-4. It's nice to wake up to a win.

 

A win is a win, ugly or not.

 

What lousy defense. Even Buch made a bad play when he threw to fist instead of throwing to second in the inning where he gave up the three run dinger. Oye. He is such a dope!

 

I'm really looking forward to when this team can field it's best players all in the same game.

 

I'm wondering why Middlebrooks is taking so long to come back from a calf strain? I wonder if Victorino will be productive anytime soon?

 

I worry that the sore hand will linger and hinder Pedroia. The cortisone shot will mask the pain but the source of the inflammation will remain and possibly become aggravated with everyday action. Still, I am happy that he is back. The less we see of Roberts, the better.

Seriously, given the stereotypes, you'd think the Navy would give up on terminology like "Seaman" and "poop deck" and so on. Why make it so easy?

Better to win ugly than to lose any day. They avoid they 4 game losing streak. It's time to get Victorino, napoli and Uehara back and go on a run. Mujica lost his closer job last year for a reason.

 

Mujica developed a reputation in St. Louis as a choke-up artist and was relegated to the s*** pile before the playoffs last season. We have a Cardinals fan on board here so maybe he can give us the lowdown on miserable Mujica. I thought he found himself with that one inning closer gem against the Yankees but apparently not. We don't need a replay of the Hanrahan-Bailey Two Step with Eddie----though in defense of H and B they were hurt when they stunk things up for us.

 

Let's see if we can put three or four runs on the board and win two in a row for a change. Yes, however, I will take the win.
