Tough loss. Cannot believe they pitched to Longoria, and all because (I'm assuming) he was 1-9 lifetime vs Robertson. Nothing like making decisions based on 9 AB samplings.

Looking at the game play-by-play, the Yankees had 7 total baserunners in the 11th, 12th and 13th innings and couldn't score. Most of that was against Heath Bell. Baseball is a crazy game.

He pitches to contact with nobody on, then goes into K mode when a hitter reaches. Lots of solos allowed by him. He buckled down after some early trouble and the offense bailed him out. Might be time to give Solarte more time at SS.

Ted Williams used to say that pitchers were the dumbest of animals. It will take the league a while to figure out that Tex is back, and he will do a lot of damage before they figure it out.
