I have CSN on my list as well. I'm on NESN though, and there's Paid Programming on the channel info. Nice one XFINITY.

Personally, I think he's done. Eck did great this year.

I like Eck and all but hope Remy's not done. Wouldn't be surprised if he was though.

I don't think NESN wants to take the risk on Remy. He's becoming more and more fragile health wise.

NESN has to be concerned with its options. Eckersly has been great, but it doesn't seem like he wants a full-time role. Everyone else they have thrown out there has been pretty awful.

Yes, and I'm sure Eck gets paid more by TBS. It's really up to him.

It is on CBS and NESN for me. I've become pretty disenchanted with the Boston "fans" -- watching this one at home today.

Yeah. A lot of the fan base has gone from the best fans in baseball to the worst fans in baseball.

Just wondering why you guys are saying this? I haven't noticed any difference.

The problem is that it isn't Red Sox fans. People who haven't watched a game all season come out for the World Series and just want to light stuff on fire and flip over cars, and use it as a reason to get utterly hammered.

Sad, but true. Boston has a lot of fair weather fans because their teams are always good. They disappeared after last season than just hop onto the bandwagon when we win the title.

I simply couldn't believe it. Tickets were around $50 for game 1 of the ALCS on stubhub. Game 6 was around $200.

I just feel that since 2004 some fans have a sense of entitlement and have gone the way of NYY fans. The band wagoners, pink hats and fair weather fans can kiss my ass. You can't expect to win every year.

It's my birthright as a Sox fan for the past decade! Duh!!!

Also, I can't help but feel that if I ever met John Lackey in person, I would be overwhelmingly compelled to apologize on behalf of Red Sox fans for the way he was treated from 2010-12.

Maybe that's just me.

Dude, he sucked in 2011. And wasn't treated that badly anyway.

I'm with you. Throw in an apology for all the people that called him "horse-face" I hated that even when he wasn't pitching well.
