Midwest Manners ... you claim that you will be praying for our team. Is this true or a lie?

What will you be praying about exactly? Praying that we do not beat up on the Cards?

Praying that we do not sweep you again? Praying that Bogaerts does not go yard 2 or 3 times? Please enlighten me on this.

You Red Sox fans are in for a treat tonight because you get to hear the greatest play by play man in baseball, Joe Buck. Joe Buck brings a lot of play by play skills to the booth in particular having the last name Buck, and well that's all I can think of right now.

f*** Buck and McCarver. There are plenty of much better play by play guys. Don Orsillo being one of them.

Sir I think you might have missed the part where I mentioned that his last name is Buck.

She's a "ma'am".

And if his last name is "Buck" then what is he here for?

I'm a ma'am and I didn't miss anything. Joe Buck is not his father. He was great.

Tough loss for God's team tonight, but you really have to applaud their effort. Wainwright was very close to catching that ball a couple more inches in and it would have fallen in his glove. Really have to appreciate these guys playing their hearts out on the big stage. As a member of the greatest fans in baseball, we are not daunted by the loss tonight as we cheer win or lose.

Good Luck tomorrow and God Bless,

Keep praying for us Keep praying.

The lord works in mysterious ways, clearly it was God's plan for the Red Sox to score 9 runs all of which could have been prevented by not making horrendous errors. But luckily for us God is a member of the best fans in baseball, so the prayers will keep coming.

Have a Terrific Day and God Bless,

If those defenders could have only caught that 2 run homerun in the 8th ... and thanks for the extra run

Catching a baseball is important if you wish to win a game or two. I especially enjoyed watching Drew's 50 foot blast drop in.

I want everyone in Boston to know that we in the Midwest do not hold any ill will to Jon Lester having green goop in his glove. As a member of the best fans in baseball we are used to boston players cheating during a championship game against st louis teams. I would like to know how you were able to drug pete kozma before the game started however.

We don't need to cheat when the other team is doing all of our work for us.

that was a really good try by salty there to make throw to third to throw out jay he almost threw the ball to the 3rd baseman. Brezlow made a good effort too, I would have clapped him trying. Edited by Midwest Manners

Will Gowdy.....segment of article last week from Deadspin regarding Card fans: "Poorly disguised Yankees fans in ugly Christmas sweaters carrying a Jell-O mold to your neighbor's door. And your constant attempts to turn every October into an extended production of Our Town makes me want to hang myself with a extension cord.”

I just want to say I thought that was a really good try by Middlebrooks to trip Craig, had Joyce not seen it would have been a great play. Keep up the good work Red Sox you're doing great, this is a fantastic series.

Sorry only Catholics do that, we don't have Catholics in the Midwest so I do not believe Jesus would approve of the crossing thing.

We need a new rule about banning posters. It doesn't matter what their INTENT is, if they are a troll they must go.

After decisions like this' date=' it's more proof that God doesn't exist, or he's a right royal a-hole who dines on the misery of others.[/quote']

Please see my above comments, Jesus Christ my lord and savior is from the midwest.

Probably more like the Middle East. He lobbed there once, so you'd think he'd prefer the holy land to Shitetown US of A.

I am so happy that Midwest Manners prayed for the Red Sox ... I doubt that we would have taken 2 of 3 games in St. Louis without these players. God bless you Midwest Manners.
