I'd like to face the A's instead of the Tigers. Soo hoping the A's pull it out tomorrow. I think the Sox would demolish the A's starter far more easier than the Tigers plus the Tigers lineup is scarier than the A's.

And f*** You Joe Madden!!! Now TBS can't show his face every 5 seconds. He just said it was his plan for Hellickson to only go 1 inning. He is such a f***ing lying douche!!! Now he can go bleach his hair more often now he'll have plenty of time.

Ahhhh s*** I am so happy right now, the last time I remember being this ecstatic was after Game 5 of the 2008 ALCS.

Same. Wow, it's been a long time.

Now we get a couple days off before having to do this s*** all over again!

And I can't wait for it! The day the Sox scored 6 in the ninth against Seattle, I knew they were going to the World Series. This is an incredible team. In some ways, (not all, so calm down purists), this is a better team than 2004 or 2007. I can feel it. This is a f***ing awesome Red Sox team. Oakland or Detroit, it doesn't matter, the Sox are about to f*** some s*** up and chew bubble gum, and...well, okay, they apparently have a ceaseless supply of bubble gum, but still, they'll have plenty of time to f*** some s*** up too.

There are a couple of things I think should not go unnoticed this season, in light of this win:

Koji's complete lack of f***s to give in any situation is great, but I think it has overshadowed what a f***less season Breslow is having. The Sox may have the closer who set the record for fewest f***s given per nine, but despite the clinching save, Breslow was the real hero of tonight's game on the mound.

BTR/UN?/RSFFL mojo has almost singlehandedly propelled the Sox to the ALCS, and that cannot be understated.

Xander Bogaerts may not yet be the offensive juggernaut that people expected, but he came up big tonight. I hope to see great things from him.

Speed has been the best weapon the Sox have had this season, and as I said before, it's great to watch. The days of the Lead Sox are long over. I look forward to another few seasons of every other team looking like Wile E. Coyote, smashing headlong into a painted tunnel while Ellsbury steals down it.

Tampa really, really needs a new stadium. All vitriol aside, they are a great team, exciting to watch, and the fact that we hate them so much is a testament to that. We didn't hate them when the Sox were going 14-2 against them every season. They deserve to play in a stadium that doesn't look like temporary shelter for displaced hurricane victims, and it's a shame that their own hometown won't show up at their games. I can't think of anything I would love better than having my grandkids wearing "Rays Suck" T-shirts and having to explain to them about how, when I was their age, the Yankees were actually so good that the Red Sox fans hated them.

Whatever college is churning out baseball television announcers should be disaccredited and replaced with a Taco Bell management training class HQ, because that will do more for baseball fans at 1AM then these schmucks ever will

Yeaha BTR .... I am enjoying the s*** out of this win. I thought we would be kicking ourselves for pitching to Longoria in game 3 ... now it no longer matters ... but please Farrell please please pitch around Miggy with first base open.

Taking on Oakland would be facing Boston-light

Was talking about that earlier tonight with some friends. LA has some Boston influence as well.

Crisp, Lowrie, Reddick, Drew, Breslow, Colon, and Moss will probably wake up and forget which team they're starting for in the ALCS. I can imagine Crisp in his car on the way to the stadium. "Shitshitshit, gotta go home and change, s***" and running back out of his house trying to button up his A's jersey but forgetting to change his hat.

*walks into class*

Random kid: "Damn dude, you really love the Red Sox. Imve seen you wear like 10 different shirts"

Haha. We've been so successful lately. I've been wearing a lot of Sox gear lately. Woke up in such a great mood, thank you Boston Red Sox.

I said it in the 6th inning, but win-or-lose, that was one helluva game. 13 different pitchers. No team had a lead larger than 1 run until the 9th inning. Solid defense from everyone and several double plays. The game was won by future star Xander Bogaertz, and the series lost by future star Will Myers. It was a nail-biter till the end.
