Do you still track his LOB since last time? I believe he has another 5 tonight. God damn.

No, but if it's something you're interested in, I can keep you updated. I enjoy looking at stats, so I decided to look at his last 15 games. If you want it for a longer period, it's not a problem. Or I can just continue from the 15 games, doesn't matter to me.

Just this month would be fine.

Here's hoping he take it out on the yankees this weekend.

For the rest of the month, I'll keep up to date with Napoli.

Just this month, 18 K's and 37 LOB. We're not even half way through the month yet.

Napoli after the all star break, in a span of 22 games

In 79 ABs, he's managed to get only 15 hits, 12 runs, 9 RBI's, GIDP 6 times and 35 K's. Not only did his production go way down, he lost power, and a shitload of it. Only 5 doubles and 3 HRs for a a total of 8 XBH. Only hitting .190 which might be the worse on the team, I have to look into it. Before anyone says anything, I'm not trying to bash Napoli. Just posting the numbers and they don't lie. I will always hope for the best in any player that wears a Red Sox uniform, but when you suck this bad, it needs to be known.

I think Farrell will end up finding some ways to rest Naps more and hope that helps. Might see more of Carp at 1st or maybe even Nava at 1st. Heck with some inter-league coming up we may see some Ortiz at 1st. Getting Naps some additional rest may at least have a shot at working. He is doing so poorly now that it really won't hurt anything to have him sit.

Madden must be going out of his mind with his Rays. Six game losing streaks are not supposed to happen to his teams. I think the absence of Moore has really hurt them more than you would think. With Moore out if Price has a bad outing when his turn comes up then BANG you have a six game losing streak if the other starters are not showing up well. That's all it really takes. Your stopper does not stop anything for 1 turn of the rotation and you lose 6 straight just like that. With Moore, if Price had a bad outing there was Moore to pick him up.

Just when I thought the sox house of cards was gonna fall, their pen wriggles off the hook and Victorino places a 15 hopper perfectly. They really are a team of fate. I'm gonna puke
I know that the Red Sox are having a great season when they cause yankee fans to want to puke. Go Red Sox!

Is it just me, or is Middlebrooks a very very good defensive 3B? All the reports/stats I've seen say he is closer to average, but he makes some very good plays.
I haven't seen anything very special about his hands or him catching the ball, but he has an absolute cannon of an arm and very accurate. He's better than Holt or Snyder by a mile.

We'll make sure to send you and Divinity a postcard from the postseason.

Here's another stat for you:

Napoli has 158 Ks in 403 ABs this season. Second to that is Salty with 114 in 329. The only one close to that is Stephen Drew and he hasn't even broken 100 Ks yet.

20 more and he's going down in history. Lets go Nap!
