I have to admit Salty has impressed me at the plate this year. If he would just become reliable behind the plate...that would be enough with his hitting. He does not have to be flashy back there. I don't need to see these pick off plays all over the diamond...forget it. Just make the plays he should make...don't turn every pop up into an adventure .and set up so that he does not always have to stab at the ball when he should just be allowing the ball to get to his mitt...that is it...I would be happy with that. That also means he would not be hovering over the middle of the plate all the time. So that would kill two birds with one stone.

Has been a very slow game. Outside of a first great inning we really haven't played well tonight. But Tampa is a tough team, and it's always a good series against them. Guess it's to be expected.
