On the off-chance anyone here cares to discuss baseball, Jackie Bradley Jr. was just called up and Alex Wilson was sent down.

 

He needs to get regular AB's while he's here. Gomes should not see an AB against a RHP for the rest of his Red Sox career.

I just said that Papelbon has not decreased his velocity and that would be great to beat him tonight, then UN began with his attacks. In all fairness, how did I insult him?

 

I have no problem disagreeing in a sport topic but the guy gets nuts when somebody talks about Papelbon. As far as I know this topic is not prohibited here.

That makes sense because with the Sox going to Philly, we had 8 relievers when Victorino/Middlebrooks were DL'd and Iglesias/Aceves came up. Now that our starters have given us a bit of a lift, and more importantly, we're going to an NL park, the extra position player becomes more valuable.

I like the move. Gomes has been deadwood in the lineup. I wonder if he stick or if he gets sent down when Victorino comes back. There will probably not be room for him unless they DFA Carp.

 

I wish we had a third base stick to bring up while WMB is on the shelf.

I will not stay out of it if it involves UN. He is not civil. It's too bad that you can't see it. And it's too bad that you didn't stay out of it and take your own advice.
