Where the heck is Miller to pitch the 8th/start it? This BP has nobody to even pitch middle relief.

Taz already pitched. Uehara needs to rest once in a while.

*cue Iglesias angst*

I can't believe they signed a guy with a glass jaw like Drew. It was bad enough that we had to suffer through 5 years of JD, now we're stuck with the runt of the litter. In my day, if we played without helmets. If you got hit in the head, you walked it off the signed up for the war later that afternoon. Now the mound was also higher in those days and... nurse, where's my medicine?

Speaking of piles of crap, Bard is toast with a pile of crap on top. His velocity is 93 ish and he has no clue where he is throwing the ball. He's completely useless at this point. I think they will give him one more outing and then he will go back to the minors not to return any time soon.

Felix Doubront, LHP

2-0, 4.32 ERA

Dude's last name is Peacock. He has a 7.50 ERA. Let's hammer him into oblivion.

Predictions: 8-4 Red Sox win, Pedroia's first homer.

I wonder if Bard could even hit the mitten playing catch with a 50 mph toss. He is toast like burnt sliced bread.

This BP will get interesting soon if they have to pitch Tazawa this much.

The condition of the pen is yet another reason why the contributions from Lester and Buch have been so critical to the start the Sox have had.

The party has ended. The Toronto hitters are heating up. The Yankees keep pulling games out of their asses with castoffs hitting like Ruth-Gehrig. On the road again.

They've got guys in Pawtucket who can fill holes--but their regimen is a starter is a starter, and a reliever is a reliever--except , of course, for Bard.

They have this problem every year using 3-4 RPs per game. The starters have to go deeper,

or the relievers need to pitch 2 innings.
