Briefly, so as not to clog up the GT, I'm kind of a combination missionary and linguist. I help African language communities a) develop their languages (literacy and such) and translate the Bible into their languages. I've been in lovely Benin (just to the west of Nigeria) since 2002, but I grew up in VA, mostly.

Well, they pushed back Doubront a full week after his first start, and then he got pushed from the start yesterday, so I'm wondering if he has some issues.

Victorino and, in particular, Napoli have been excellent early in their Sox careers. Kinda wish we'd just given Nap 3-years now though!

They will need to be careful with Napoli's contract situation. I bet they lost some good will with the negotiations the first time, and need to treat him well moving forward if they want him to return to the team in years ahead. That being said, offering him arbitration will probably stick him here.

Thanks. The countries I work in are very stable, at least by local standards. I feel safer here than I would in a lot of places in the States.
