1. Pedroia got picked running on a great stealing count, 1-2 when the pitcher is likely to throw something off speed. That's just tough luck.

 

2. Napoli got hung up doing the exact same thing that Gomes did in NY and everyone loved him for it.

 

Don't be hypocritical about it. If you don't like SB and aggressive base running, then don't be pumped when it works and pissed when it doesn't. Understand that aggressiveness does sometimes run into outs, but the way the Sox been aggressive, it's been a controlled aggressiveness to hedge against too many outs.
