Well Yankees made it a bit closer. But was a solid effort. Offense looked great, and Clay had a very strong game. 2 and 0 to start the season with convincing wins over the Yanks. I'm a happy camper for now.

Really interesting watching Hanrahan. He did not crank it ST and had not seen much of him in Pitts. But when he first started pumping 96-97, the ball was flat...no movement and even Cervelli looked dangerously like he was going to drive one fair for a hit. Once he got warmed up he was still at about 96-97 but the ball had movement on it. Wonder if that is just how he throws....takes a few pitches to get that heater moving someplace.
