Sabathia is throwing 89-91 and topping out at 92 mph again today. This game is far from over.

Lmao Jacko is going to come in here saying "The Yankees are going to turn it around now after this game". Even though they're playing a trash ass Angels team. Somehow Divinity will make it on the site because the Red Sox lost and the Yankees are winning.

1 for 1

You bandwagon ass fan. You're only here when they win, you coward.

Naw it's that's just my mojo when I happen to be online the Yankees win and the Red Sox lose.

You're the A-Rod of this site. The Yankees lose and you're nowhere to be found or spoken to, and when they win you are suddenly omnipresent and ready to claim responsibility for their fortune. The only difference between the two of you is A-Rod has a modicum of talent at something.

Well this is just false lol. CC's average FB velocity was 92.71 and he topped out at 95.06.

Anyway, what a crazy 9th inning. Haven't seen a team enjoy that much good fortune over the course of one half inning in a long time. In Mo's last two appearances there have been six balls put in play, none of which were hit remotely hard, yet five resulted in hits.

Not according to pitchf/x he wasn't.

I watched about three innings, and according to the gun, he was wasn't throwing harder than 92 mph. Looks like he may have gotten it up to 94 later in the game, but pitchf/x doesn't have him throwing 95 mph.

What a coincidence, when the Yankees are up 6 runs and you log on, they happen to win. You must be a good luck charm!

Either way, for him, it was a good velocity day, and it translated into good results.

The gun at Angel Stadium this year is a little faster. Before they used to call it the humble gun by many managers. I saw Robertson hitting 95 a few times, and the case for Weaver hitting above 90, when he is usually under it. Even mo was topping at 94.

Brooksbaseball data is provided by the company behind Gameday. It's a free data that any programmer can get the feed to and set up graphs with it.

Obviously I was joking, hence the  emote.

I don't take myself too seriously and nether should you.

I was under the impression that the figures provided by PitchFX don't come from radar guns, but rather camera triangulation. Is that incorrect?

Yeah it's from the camera.
