Slowly approaching striking distance. The A's upcoming schedule consists of 3 @ BAL, 4 @ DET, and 3 vs TB. That should present a nice opportunity to gain even more ground. Yanks obviously have to do their part, though.

He's a career .825 OPS over 15 years with almost 400 HRs. The guy doesn't stink.

I think it would be good to knock the Yankees back some and reduce the number of teams we're battling with in the standings.
