#Regression

Going to be a long, long tumble.

Yes, we tumbled so far. So, so far. We tumbled right into a 7-0 dominating performance. Oh, and Grandy comes back tomorrow.

1 game doesn't make anything. The Yanks will start losing, don't worry.

As far as the Grandy thing, you think that Grandy makes the team better, no? And a better team wins more games, no? And they are on a 100+ win pace, no? Please, tell me where my logic is flawed.

Yeah. How is this regression tasting now?

 Wow, I usually wait for them to stop breathing, and then I wait for them to get shot a couple of more time before I poke them like this.:o

There is a big difference between counting them out and saying that I was right in that there was a massive regression due.

You have the luxury of counting them out or as you say predicting regression (let's lump it all into the category of poking Yankee fans), because you don't have to face them down every day when the season ends. I guess that since we have some anonymity on this site that I shouldn't be reluctant to bury the Yanks when they look like they are dying. My reluctance is just a product of my personal history in NY. I am not criticizing you at all, because they look like they are crumbling at the foundation. I just can't be certain enough to muster up the courage to poke at them yet.

The last time that I buried the Yankees early was 2008. I think that I buried them before the All Star break. I knew when they went into the season trying to pick 2 starters from among 3 rookies that they were toast. Once Hughes and Kennedy started off completely hapless I knew they were in huge trouble.

New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira left Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Angels with an aggravated wrist injury, and the team announced Teixeira will visit team physician Dr. Christopher Ahmad in New York on Sunday, per Meredith Marakovitz of the YES Network.

FEAR US!

Huge break for the Yankees, that was an obvious case of fan interference which would mean Gardner would have to go back to second base and the run would not have scored.

This isn't necessarily true. Because the fan reached into the field of play, rather than the ball going into the stands, it's left up to the discretion of the umpires where to put the base runners. Seeing as there were two outs and it was a high fly ball, and I think it's pretty obvious that the runner from first scores regardless. I would expect the umpires to see it the same way.

Tex should have had it operated on from the beginning. I said it wasn't an injury that goes away. Stupid decisions all around. Season over in mid June barring a cataclysmic acquisition

If it wasn't an injury that goes away, then why did you spend so much time talking up his return?

I'm guessing because he isn't Lyle Overbay.

Nope, he was talking up Lyle Overbay too.

Thanks for Overbay, lol. The guy does have something left after all

Overboom!!!

Cano continues his run as the least clutch hitter in baseball. Comes to the plate with men on second and third, one out, and strikes out looking. Then Hafner walks to load the bases and Vernon Wells promptly grounds in to a double play to end the inning.

Hold the phone, the Yankees have scored three runs! The last time they scored that many runs in a game was last Tuesday.

Lmao Jacko is going to come in here saying "The Yankees are going to turn it around now after this game". Even though they're playing a trash ass Angels team. Somehow Divinity will make it on the site because the Red Sox lost and the Yankees are winning.
