I would like to report that my team might have been hacked by John Farrell, who stupidly left Cliff Lee and Greinke on the bench tonight. This will likely cost me at least 2 pitching categories. Oh well, this is what happens when I paly make believe manager, I get toopid. LOL!!

You are on my ignore list, but I am assuming that this ^ is about reclaiming first place that I have held for several weeks while you disappeared from the forum. Kudos on recaliming the top spot.

Lmao you hit the nail right on the head a700. That was expected though, because he did say he was taking his spot back.
Once I got to first place, I pretty much stayed there for the rest of the season, except for 1 week when I stupidly neglected the team and left Cliff Lee and Greinke on the bench. I have finished at the top of the heap despite Dipre's proclamation early in the season that my team was no threat.

Congrats to A700 and Username for reaching the finals. You guys were pretty much 1 and 2 the entire sean and deserve the finals. It should be a good match. Good luck guys.
Thank SFoC!! You did a great job managing your team all year and especially this week. It was a tight contest all week long and you caught a bad break when Strasburg got scratched.

Well congratulations to a700 on his victory, since i'm clearly not coming back from this deficit.

I'll make sure to trade a mediocre SS and below average starting pitcher for the best player in fantasy next year so i can ride him all the way to the championship.

I was wondering why I had no appetite at dinner. When I checked in on my team, I realized that it was because I had been eating U.N.'s lunch all week long. LOL! He must have been burning when I picked up Billy Hamilton -- a backup bench player just for the SB category. He got 3 SB's in limited action-- to help me easily win that category. I didn't need Greinke's or Lee's final starts on Sunday to take the WHIP category. I also didn't need my best pitcher Matt Harvey or best hitter, CarGo-- both are on the DL. Maybe he can write (i.e., whine, bitch, and make excuses) about it in his Fantasy Baseball column. Victory is sweet. Edited by a700hitter

Congrats Ted! You won because you managed your TEAM better than us all season long and not because one player did all the job.

Anyway... It was fun and thanks for invite me SFoC.

Hey Israel, thanks. I appreciate that. I was very motivated. LOL!! The best trade that I made was for David Ortiz. He raked all year long and replaced Justin Smoak --I think. LOL!

I can't claim full credit, because my son drafted my team. I was busy with an auction draft. He didn't like the team he drafted, but when I looked at it, I realized that he had done a really great job. He drafted Cliff Lee, Verlander, Matt Harvey and Cole Hamel as starters. He picked Kimbrel and Aroldis Chapman as closers. That was a pretty awesome base upon which to build.

Pal, you won the Trout v. Segura points bet in a runaway. I owe you $10. Private Message me your email address and I'll send you the money through PayPal. I am just glad that I didn't make a sig bet.

I don't think you know a lot about managing teams, so i'll take your opinion with a grain of salt.

^ I don't know what UN posted, but he can stick it. If I had benched Trout for the entire week in the championship playoff, I still would have trounced him. That is how much better my team was than his. LOL!! Suck on it loser!

I setup the League. Invitations were sent out to players from last year. The dues are the same $ 20. The draft is Thursday March 20th @ 6:30 PM EST. We might have a few openings if anyone is interested.

I seem to get smoked in this league year after year. Still fun though. I'll join for now, but if someone more competitive comes along and needs my spot so be it.

Due to the total lack of interest, I'm going to cancel the Talksox Fantasy Baseball 2014 League. I thank a700, Palodios, and redsoxrules for their interest and support. I declare this site offially dead and devoid of fun. Edited by Sox Fan on Cape

User Name? has not been around lately-- I bet he'd be a lock if he was around. Anyone facebook friends with him? We didn't really advertise much -- maybe we can pull some new players into the draft.

J21 will be back from New Orleans. He's a definite. That would make it 8. It's doable. But everyone will have a loaded team. Edited by Sox Fan on Cape

With all the blowhards on this site that know everything about baseball, you would think a few of them would want to show off their managerial talents and challenge the King of TalkSox for his championship. Cowards!
