    • Maybe. We need to see more consistency first.

Yes but that happens. The end result was excellent, and it ended up being a very very good outing.

Right - I'm just saying he wasn't clicking on all cylinders. He was fighting himself for the first 3 innings and was able to make an adjustment and figure it out, and keep his pitch count down enough to where he could go 7.2. That's something that defines an ace, someone who can make that adjustment and still get deep into games.

I'm not saying he had a poor outing. Quite the opposite. I'm saying his outing was excellent and on top of that, he showed he could make adjustments when maybe he was fighting himself a little bit.

He's going to regress a bit at some point this season. He's good, but he's not Pedro.

That said, I saw a lot of 94's and 95's with significant movement last night, and even though I predict he'll regress. I don't think he's in any danger of not being a Cy Young contender barring something health related.

Me too. I took him with my final pick (25th rounder). Not bad.

He actually did not get drafted and was picked up as a free agent in my league. I just missed getting him off the free agency list by an hour. Still posses I did not grab him.

Health has always been the buggest concern with him, no?

How many teams are in your league? Being available until the 25 th round makes me think there were no Sox fans other than you in the league.

hmm.... well, good fantasy players don't draft from their favorite team just b/c it's their favorite team.

Sounds like that league is full of noobies.

I agree but a red Sox fan would have been more likely to be aware that Buchholz was having a very good ST and drafted him earlier.

I know I was. I took a chance on him in two of my three teams. It's paid huge dividends so far.
