Umm seriously though.... What does whatever they have done so far this yr have to do with the FACT that the bullpen HAS shutdown the a's today???? Your saying if Bobby went to the pen 3 batters sooner we would be down 8-1??? Please explain?

You talk like shutting down the A's is an accomplishment. I could s*** a ball out my ass and get these clowns out.

 

The embarrassing part is, they are going to lose 2 outta 3 to these guys. Bard gave up 10 baserunners in 5.1 innings to a team that resembles a AA squad.

Beyond staggering that we have only given up 4 runs considering how poorly Bard pitched and with the defensive lapses behind him. This team needs runs to win (no s*** sherlock right). But seriously we need to crank out something like 4-6 runs anyway to win a game.

 

Wonder if Mortenson has more games in him like this. Best news of the night is the new guys! Maybe there is a message here for the Sox FO. Are you guys listening???????

How's that^^^^^......everything you just said has NOTHING to do with my original post? I said if bard got pulled after 5, maybe we are tied or etc... You said our BP is horrible and we would be down 8-1...but yet our BP is at 3.1 innings 6 k's 1 hit..... You then again said have you seen our BP this yr, I then asked wtf that has to do with today, then you respond with something that has absolutely nothing to do with anything I was talking about..... I'm confused

i wouldnt be surprised if they did. they shut out the yankees today.. they are freaking good so far, and whoever is saying they are going to drop i dont see any reason unless 6 players get injurred suddenly. what would be really sad and hysterical is rays and orioles come thru and yankees and redsox miss the playoffs..

oh and texas lost 2 out of 3 to bluejays..

You should be confused. You think the bullpen is good.

 

The bullpen sucks, what are you confused about? Your argument is going to be based on a perfomance from Clayton Mortensen? You must have been one of those guys who thought that Creighton Gubanach was the next Babe Ruth when his first major league hit was a grand slam.

The O's pitching sucks, that's why they'll drop. 2005 comes to mind. They had a very similar start to this year, and were in first place as late as June, and finished 30 games out of first.

 

Careers don't lie, and most of that pitching staff has an established curriculum of suck that just can't be ignored.

I said IF bard was pulled earlier TODAY with how the BP is pitching TODAY it would be a different gm....
