Oh boy' date=' who wouldn't want adolescent hormonally emotional high schoolers in their corner. There's a reason why kids under 18 can't vote.[/quote']

It's a shame they don't have similar restrictions for angry, senile old men.

We all really need to take a chill pill here. Losing sucks, but getting at each other's throats isn't going to solve anything.

Let's patiently wait for them to do better in the next game, and keep in mind people:

Only 6 games have been played.

So let's all chill. They will play better.

Agree 100%. This performance will not go on; it will get better. ALL OF US ARE ON THE SAME SIDE HERE folks. A little respect and tolerance will make life better for all of us...IMO. I will do my best to live up to that.

Bottom line: losing sucks.

I just thought your post was uncharacteristically vicious and personal. I don't think I have seen you quite so angry. Just a little surprised.:dunno:

Yeah, I am a total bitch on a regular basis.

If you don't know how I feel about the Sauxheads Entourage then you never will.

Like the start of the Sox season isn't bad enough?!?

Continue to enjoy their pollution of the board. I will not.

Thank you again for showing your true colors.

Take care bro.

I tend to agree with pumpsie's baseball perspective. He is a great and knowledgeable poster. On the other hand VA is a very nice poster. I like both. Is there a possibility you guys shake hands?

There is also a reason a person of your age gets banned for arguing with them.

Hypocrite.

When I can quote both of you in the same post and say I completely agree, everyone should take note.

This is hard because:

a) Regardless of optimist vs. pessimist, we all want them to win

B) when a team has so few wins it is really hard to wait for the next game. We want redemption immediately

c) other teams get off to hot starts and we say "why can't the Sox do that?"

d) we all know this team is much, much better than they showed in 2011 and so far in 2012.

The season will get better.

Such a valuable member of society and you spend your time making an ass of yourself on a message board.

Wait, you mean we've only played 6 games out of 162 games and we still have a shot for the division? OMG? Guys did you hear that?

Christ you people are embarrassing yourselves

I make a fool of myself all the time but that's cause I choose to be an *******. It does make us look bad and will get us no where. Some posters will just never see eye to eye. This will happen no matter how the Sox are doing.

On another note, LOL @ your avatar.

^Talk about being a broken record. Who's the hypocrite? :thumbdown

I didn't mean to set you off so bad. I didn't say that you are regularly bitchy. I noted that vicious post was uncharacteristic for you. You really went off... don't you think?

Hey, I only make an ass of myself some of the time on this message board.

Some posters here literally have no faith in this team. I feel like they come on here just to be negative and they know exactly who they are..

Am I included in your "some posters"?

Yeah, I like to stop by here after work just to see how batshit crazy some of the people out there are.

The outcome of this team effects their lives. Its crazy. I think they will finish in third place. I dont lose sleep over it.

Always IORTIZ. Its not like VA committed a crime against me. When she is ready I will be ready. Until then I am going to respectfully have her on ignore.

I get that some folks here are perturbed by some of the repetitive posting of my opinion. I own that, and I will try to reduce it. I think all of us are guilty of having pet opinions that get stated in different ways recurrently.

Appreciate the kind words.

I dont think you are a particularly bad member. I just think you over react to everything.

Take it in stride, there are others who think the way you do.....its just the way you voice your opinion.

Easy to say, hard to do.

We as fans tend to get worked up with each other when the team is struggling.

Here's a way to put it in perspective: like it or not, the Sox players care very little what we think of them. They are paid to do a job. Do they want to win? Sure. But, they are PAID employees. They don't "choose" their team for free, like we do.

I really doubt Youkilis is going to call every poster on this board to say "sorry for hitting .001." He doesn't really give a rat's behind...sorry, to break it all of you.

Secondly, players are getting paid handsomely, quite handsomely to be exact. I would think they know that getting ripped by the media and the fans comes with the job.

No. But you stick with the same things all the time "Salty sucks""I dislike Beckett, trade him" etc. At least you're consistent.

I don't think you guys are understanding me. Pessimism is not a bad thing. This team needs criticism cause they're playing like s***. People literally have no faith. As in the season is already over because they're definitely going to keep playing like this in this 162

game season. It was whatever at first, but then you realize that's all they really do. If that's the case then don't be here(directed at the ones who gave up on the team after 6 games not you). I'm not the best fan and I never said I was. I don't go on a crazy rampage after every game acting like the world is ending. What pisses me off even more is when we start to roll the pessimist suddenly become the world's biggest optimist. "Yeah man we're definitely going to make the WS. This team is really good right now! I love them!" f*** that. I'm going to call people out on it all the time.

If everyone who "actively" participated in this sorry excuse for a game thread could check their PMs, it would be much appreciated.
