Another quality start. Hell, CC is at 69 pitches through 6. He might go all the way. And today we actually hit with RISP, with Martin and Jeter getting RBI hits. And CC really has been dealing. Bourn's hit is probably the only one hit well.

Good job Tex.

Anyway, I would love to target Heyward in trade talks. Might be able to get him a little cheaper since he hasn't been great in two years. Might be good to get him to a new team.

The guy is only 22 and fell off the map last yr due to injury. I like his eye and think he could really be a huge hitter in our lineup, in this stadium. I'd be open to dealing ANY prospect for him.

He'd also be the perfect guy to add to the Yankee lineup. The kind of guy who won us championships in the late 90s. Good eye, good pop, not a star, but a guy who can just flat out play. I think he could be a hell of a player for us. I just dont think the Braves are ready to unload him yet.

10 IN A ROW!!!. And all against good teams. This was supposed to be the buzzsaw of the season. Instead, the Yankees went all chain saw on these teams and are mowing them the f*** down. Our offense has been good, but the pitching has been unreal. CC joined the club tonight. I think tomorrow ends the streak as Kuroda has to come back down eventually, but this is great. And the O's lost, 3 games up in the L column

By the time the Sox get everyone back and start hitting on all cylinders, the Yankees may have made them irrelevant in the division. It's what good teams do. They bury teams that are struggling. They don't play down to the competition.

Thing is, when we sputtered, we were puttering around .500 and when we surged, we blew past .500. When the sox sputtered, they were well below .500, then got to .500 and are sputtering again. Good teams can play .500 ball when they arent going well and can play well past that when they are going right

THAAA YANKEEES LOOOOSE, THEEEE YANKEES LOSE.

Sorry, someone had to do it tonight.

It's okay, we'll be looking forward to your next post the next time they lose, we all know you didn't want any part of this thread while they were on a 10 game winning streak.

To be completely honest, you're absolutely right. But in all fairness, you guys are the same way for our game threads. That's just how it goes.

I dont have a problem with it. Hell, I even predicted they were gonna lose last night. Kuroda had been otherworldly. He needed to correct, and he did, even though he wasnt horrible

I'd like to see some more of those corrections from you guys.

Well, Hughes and Nova needed to correct from the s*** they put up the first 6 weeks of the season. We wont be pitching to a sub 2 ERA from our starters, that just wont happen. But I suspect we will see a lot more quality starts from the crew. We have a very good rotation, and they have finally started to pitch like it

Is there any doubt as to nick swishes status as the biggest bag of s*** on the planet? The guys douchy grin makes angels cry.
... and we get treated to more of the shitbags antics tonight.

Should still be 4-0. Our catcher cannot seem to reach second base, or hit a flyball with a runner on 3rd. We should have 5 runs, actually. I'm longing for the days of Cervelli, f***

The game should still be 5-2 if it weren't for Cano and Tex making costly errors. Tex's was questionable, but he should have been playing deeper with two outs.
