Our pitching actually matches up pretty well with Philly. Beckett and Halladay are two studs, pretty much a wash there. Lee and Lester, same applies. Pretty much a wash there. Hamels has a slight edge on Buchholz, but that game would be played at Fenway.

Lets not forget, last time we played the Phils, we didn't have Crawford, Lowrie (who crushes LHP), we had Darnell McDonald hitting 5th vs Lee, etc. The team we field in the WS will be much different than that team.

Over their careers, Halladay and Lee both have losing records against us and are a combined 17-21. We've had much more success against them then most teams.

That is one thing to fall back on. Plus' date=' maybe we have a different RF'er by then. A certain man who wears #15 for the Mets at the current moment.[/quote']

He and Garza would be very nice.

In that scenario nobody would stop us.

Chuck Norris himself would fall victim to our brute strength. I don't think we could reach Don Johnson levels though.

What a difference a year makes. From a little bit of a douche to a massive douche.

I think he's funny, probably would hate him if I were a rival team's fan though.

Yeah I think he's cool, and the beard should stay, but he needs to shave it a little. Right now it's too egregious.

Well that'll do it for me until *looks at schedule* August 1st-4th. Look forward to seeing you guys then!

Except you suns. I hope you aren't here when I return.

No Justin Verlander, no CC Sabathia, no Felix Hernandez, no James Shields for the AL.

But the game counts!

what a joke

You don't need to worry about it. The Yankees will be watching the Series from their couches.
