Remind me again why the All-star game determines Home field advantage for the WS? It didn't make sense then' date=' it makes even less sense now. f*** exhibition games.[/quote']

And cokehead managers determing our team's fortune.

Why the f*** do we have to depend on the all star game to decide who gets home field advantage. So f***ing stupid.

Why do JFK and RFK get shot and Selig gets to live out his term in relative safety?

Matt Wieters... exhibit A as to why every team shouldn't automatically get a player in the All-Star game

haha, this. I havent even ever heard of the guy the Royals have in the all star game. Seriously.

Really, who the f*** is Aaron Crow and why should I care? Never heard of him before his selection.

Yes, it's stupid to have the ASG determine home field for the WS. It should go to the MLB team with the best record. So, in all fairness, it's probably going to the right team, as I don't see Philadelphia slowing down with that rotation, and I'd be shocked if they didn't win the NL pennant.

Yeah, that rotation is deadly. Agreed on it should be based on whoever has the better record.

Well on the bright side, we swept in 04 and 07. If we do that this year, we'll do it in Fenway.

Really. I had to look him up. He's a random rookie reliever. Decent stats, but definitely a waste of a spot that could go to a better player. Same goes for a lot of these players

Jesus Ellsbury... at least you could try to make us proud

He's not gonna give Washington the satisfaction of us scoring again. It's a silent protest.

Who's gonna stop us' date=' the Yankees?[/quote']

Certainly won't be the AL Central team, and that includes my Guardians.

Boston over San Fransisco in 6.

The only way I would worry in the series is if it were Philly. I'm praying that somehow we get Milwaukee.

I meant sweeping the Phillies in the World Series would be hard. I don't think the Yankees will be stopping us but the playoffs are a toss up.

Winning one of the 1st two, both I hope, on the road will be crucial. I don't wanna play them regardless, if there is one team I'm afraid of, it's the Phillies.

Our pitching actually matches up pretty well with Philly. Beckett and Halladay are two studs, pretty much a wash there. Lee and Lester, same applies. Pretty much a wash there. Hamels has a slight edge on Buchholz, but that game would be played at Fenway.

Lets not forget, last time we played the Phils, we didn't have Crawford, Lowrie (who crushes LHP), we had Darnell McDonald hitting 5th vs Lee, etc. The team we field in the WS will be much different than that team.

That is one thing to fall back on. Plus, maybe we have a different RF'er by then. A certain man who wears #15 for the Mets at the current moment.
