Francona is CLEARLY the reason why the Sox suck this year.

He's not the only reason, but he's one of them. More importantly, he's the easiest to replace.

Well. If Francona knew how to manage a bullpen, Lackey would be getting pulled before he gets shelled for 9 runs over 6.2 IP. Seriously. No excuse for it. Francona is just the worst bullpen manager of all time.

 

I don't see how he can be so insanely complacent. He allows huge innings against us in the 6th and 7th innings far too often.

 

His ass better be on the hot seat.

I have been saying since last season that it is very frustrating that Tito leaves his starters in until they give up 7 runs. I just don't get it.

That's not it. It is how he handles players. Keeping Crawford in the 8th hole while Pedroia goes 0fer. Giving Wakefield the ball in crucial situations out of loyalty, while Aceves, Atchison and Hill sat in AAA. He clearly cannot tell when a starter is getting tired, and especially cannot tell when starters simply don't have anything. When you're 6 games back in May, he needs to show a little f***ing emotion out there. Don't even get me started on the Scutaro decision in pre-season.

I'm getting sick of this losing. The Celtics are up, I go to the bathroom and come back, down and about to lose. They get knocked out, I switch back to the Sox... 9-3. WTF. Can we DFA Lackey and fire Tito already. There is no excuse for this. We have two wicked hot hitters in the middle of our lineup... and we can't win a game? I've had enough of watching a starter give up 7+ through 5+ innings before Tito goes to the pen. I'm getting sick of it all. Way too much talent and payroll to keep losing, someone needs to be held accountable and sooner rather than later. Fire Tito and Magadan and send a f***ing message to this club.

I tend to avoid criticizing...but....what the hell Tito? I thought Lackey should have been taken out after he walked Patterson in the 7th. God that was a brutal loss.
