It's both. Buch gave up bombs. The offense is sputtering (how many called 3rd strikes this game and Drew isn't even playing).

 

Buchholz could have gave up 2 runs it doesn't matter. You don't score you can't win. All of his hits except one were due to solo HRs.

True, but he gave up 4 runs, not 2. The whole team has played a part in this series sucking. It's not just one thing to blame, you have to look at the whole pitcher. How many wins do pitchers with 6.00 ERAs tend to get?

That's why I said "could". At least 2 of them went out because of the wind. As for your question about how many wins do pitchers with 6.00 ERAs get not much but Buchholz isn't that bad.
