Dipre Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 So you'd rather have a stadium full of people rather than 4 world series rings? Guess that is the Red Sox motto though. Hey we don't have world series rings' date=' but we sell out our stadium!!! [/quote'] Wait, what? You mean the same Red Sox who were in a middle of two WS runs during the sellout streak? Where do you come up with this stuff......
RedSoxfanforlife305 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Nothing has changed, they still suck. They just happened to play better ball than us. Nothing new.

TeddyBallGame9 Verified Member Posted April 13, 2011 Author Posted April 13, 2011 :thumbdown try again My bad. You were 3rd Now I have always admired the Red Sox. I love the city and it's history See, I saw Ted Williams, Mantle, Maris and Bob Feller play many games. Often, the Red Sox back then were not very good but they were a team I always rooted for. Sometimes it's fun to root for the under dog. That's why you gotta love the Guardians right now. The owner can't afford to pay attention. I am sure that the BoSox will end up in the playoffs and chances are good they win the whole thing but let us Tribe fans have our fun while it lasts (which probably won't be too long but ya never know..............)
suns Verified Member Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Let's get this win tonight vs. the Angels and get back on the winning track.
CanadianSox Verified Member Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 It all went down hill when they let Ricky Vaughn get away. Lol! Once they got rid of Willy Mays Hayes it all went to hell in a handbasket. http://www.sportsfan4.com/media/willie-mays-hayes.jpg I guess we think alike
Emmz Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 It all went down hill when they let Ricky Vaughn get away. Lol! They were bi-winning with Ricky Vaughn.

TeddyBallGame9 Verified Member Posted May 1, 2011 Author Posted May 1, 2011 How 'bout them Guardians!!! Cleveland 19 8 .704. 13 straight wins at home. Best record in baseball! I know it's early but....................
TeddyBallGame9 Verified Member Posted May 1, 2011 Author Posted May 1, 2011 Plan the parade. Nah, but it's fun while it lasts for long-suffering Tribe fans!

Keeper Verified Member Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 The Sox are partially responsible for their early success this season. Justin Masterson has been lights out so far. His xFIP was 3.87 in 2010. Must have been a victim of bad luck. Nice groundball pitcher.

As a player, he simply has no way to get out left handed batters, and never has. A 1.53 WHIP against LHH in 2011 is not ace material. Worse still, in his 4 of his 6 games, he has pitched against seattle, baltimore, or kansas city.
