I dont think that we should do it, in my understanding in the rules trades werent even supposed to be made during the draft only after it. I feel like we should stick to what we all agreed with before we started the draft. It's kind of stupid to bring it up now with every one having about 7 picks left for their roster.

In all fairness, just because one side "wins" that doesn't mean that we are going to add trades where salary can be eaten.

We're voting on whether or not we should be allowed to eat a player's salary or part of his salary in a trade.

 

Currently, we're not allowed to do this. I'm for changing this rule and so are 2 others so far.

No way from me. Eating salary could be easily exploited by lesser teams to mindlessly overpay for some quick talent to an otherwise underwhelming roster. That, and this would be a total goatf*** to try and keep track of.

Willing to move Josh Willingham for the right package. He can at least play the field. Pretty much all other players are avaliable to be discussed in the trade except Longoria and Greinke. I also don't want to end up in a position where the trade leaves me missing a starting player (i.e. puts me down to 4 starters, or gives me a hole in OF).

Also, I'm fine with including salaries as part of trades, but I don't think it's a big deal whether it happens or not. I don't think that the number of trades would explode by including it.

Some people need an outfielder. He slots in fine as a DH, but I figured that his glove was going to waste, and if someone's willing to come up with a good offer for him I would definitely consider it.
