If you click on the link to 2010, a spreadsheet for the whole team comes up, and the numbers in the spreadsheet are different. Which numbers should I be using?

Luke Gregerson - RP ($0.416)

Sorry about the wait. Work all day.

Haha I was right. I had a feeling that you'd take Gregerson, mainly because he was on your team in the last baseball redraft. For some reason I figured that you'd pick him again. I was wrong on who I thought Keeper would take, but at least I was right here. Hopefully I'm wrong in my guess on who Y228 is going to take.

Just use the regular numbers, don't worry about the spreadsheet. RSFFL had this problem in the first round, so it wasn't just you. You're probably doing yourself a favour by not using the spreadsheet.

Dipre and your friend gave you bad advice. He hits lefties and righties' date=' gets on base at a good clip, and hits for a little power. He's more of a gap to gap hitter than a HR hitter, but he's still capable of hitting 15-20. And he'll be 27 this season.[/quote']

Nuh-uh.

Markakis' power has been on a steady decline, and he doesn't have any dominant tools, and when Ital wanted to pick him, there were superior options on the board, as seen by the OF's he did pick.

The cold-hard facts:

He has declined in every defensive metric the last two years, he slugged .436 last year, even though he had a .331 BABIP. He's become a singles hitter who can somewhat get on base, and for the money, not a viable option either.

I didn't give him bad advice, i just did my research and saw that there were better options on the board. Hell, there still are.

He backs them pretty damn well using numbers. We all know numbers don't lie. Which is why I would hate to get in an argument with Dipre and procede to get owned.

Owned, you say? Whatever dude.

Markakis is entering his age 27 season, so there is every reason to believe his power can re-emerge. I'm seeing HR projections in the 17-20 range.

Dipre would have you believe he is a singles hitter. Markakis has hit 43 or more doubles the last 4 seasons and 45 or more the last 3. Dipre would have you believe he can only "somewhat get on base." His career OBP is .368. He hits lefties, righties, at home, and on the road.

He "declining" defense is largely overstated. His range factor is better than most right fielders, as is his arm. And again, it's irrelevant to my team because he is my DH. His salary is also quite reasonable at $6.75 M.

Dipre knows a lot about baseball. But his ego is far more expansive than his knowledge. As much s*** as he's recently given a700 about not losing arguments, he really should look in the mirror.

Idk' date=' did anyone want Hunter Pence very badly?[/quote']

He was on my list next to Markakis. I'd probably have taken Markakis of the two, but I felt there were more important areas to address.

Keeper, you, sir, can go f*** yourself.

I said what i was going to say without calling you out or insulting you. I didn't tell RSFFL to say anything, that's just his opinion.

His power has declined, and so has his ability to get on base on a neutral context. Ditto for his defense. Statistics don't lie:

Would you have picked Markakis over Gardner or Victorino? I know i wouldn't.

If you can't debate that without attacking me, then again, go f*** yourself.

The owned part was referring to me dude lol. Sorry if I offended you in that post. You know a lot of your baseball too. I was just pointijg out that Dipre knows his stuff. I guess you took it in the wrong way.

Well i don't let things go but at least i don't whine like a 12-year-old girl about every f***ing thing. Sorry Keeper, someone had to say it.

Oh, and get off my nuts. There was nothing disrespectful about my post, but you turned it into a high-school drama.

I guess that for every fast day like yesterday' date=' there's an equally slow day like today. Oh well.[/quote']

Yeah, I apologize for taking so long. Had to take care of a few things outside the house, and it took longer than I expected.

Since I have a lot of money left I might as well spend it. I'd have made this pick later but the only 2 people without SS's are Yankee fans.

Derek Jeter SS 21million

Brian Matusz SP 400k

With Matusz, it technically said 65k as his salary, but Dipre and I talked about it and we figured it'd be more consistent to just go with the 400k minimum.

Anyway, Flynnatic, you're up again.
