Haha I'd totally feel bad for holding this thing up if RSFFL picks the person I would have picked for him. Oh well, at least a700 is online so we can keep the ball rolling when RSFFL comes on.

Sorry guys this was my fault not Itals I wasn't clear on who I wanted when I sent him that message a few days back.

I have my pick let me just look at the salary.

It's not a problem. I was just confused because you recently took the middle person on the list, and you had changed which reliever you wanted, and your 2nd choice was very similar to your 3rd person, so I figured that if I was going to make a mistake, I'd rather have waited too long and have you come back and make your pick, than to have made the wrong pick.

Besides, I have Forsyth's pick and I still think that A700 is online (while WhiskeyBreath isn't) so I don't think that this delays anything for too long.

I noticed the person I picked was a closer. I already have Chris Perez. I didn't pay attention.

What I find interesting is that the person that Keeper sent me, was the person that I thought he was going to pick last round. I nailed WB's pick, got Y228's pick clearly wrong, but I think I deserve partial credit on Keeper's pick because while he didn't pick him in the last round, he did (unless JE picks him) eventually pick him.

Haha I want to know who you expected me to take.

I figured that you were going to take Jeter. You had an opening at SS, you're a Yankee fan, and I think that you had the money.

I guessed that WhiskeyBreath was going to take Luke Gregerson, and I guessed that Keeper was going to take the person that he just sent me.

I think Jeter would have been a good fit for my team, but he would have pushed my payroll up to around 80 million dollars. There are still 11 rounds to go, and I also still hope to acquire a big bat. The other hand, because of your payroll flexibility, I think he was an excellent pick.

I would have tried to get Jeter in a later round (because of his payroll) but since you and Divinity were the only 2 people without SS's, that lessened my chances of getting him in another round. Especially since that I'm at the end of the rounds anyway, which means that for each time I pass him up, that gives both you and Divinity 2 chances to draft him.

Yup, I understand the rationale. At this point I'm not really sure what I'm going to do for SS, as no one truly stands out and deserves to be taken in the next couple rounds. Assuming people wait until the last couple rounds to draft backup MIFs, I should be able to hold off on drafting a SS for awhile.

My payroll is at 90mill, Jeter was too expensive for my tastes heh

Since WhiskeyBreath made his pick before 4pm, we could skip Jacoby Ellsbury if it comes to it at some point tonight. I also have Keeper's pick, so we could send it straight to Y228 I think.

I may be heading out, so if I do, I'll send you a few picks.

Nah' date=' it's just douchebags in general. Something about them rubs me the wrong way.[/quote']

Fair enough. He's one of my favorite players, and, in my opinion, one of the best parts of the 2009 championship was A-Rod playing great and getting his ring.
