I'm impressed with it all. 98-100 MPH fastball with a ton of movement, nasty curve, and awesome control. It's almost incomprehensible how someone could have pinpoint control with pitches that nasty.

something not right with Strasburg, he lost about 3-4 MPH on his fastball that last inning

Nah, that wasn't dirty. It was a hard slide to break up the DP. He wasn't trying to take him out or anything. If Frandsen had given Aybar a better feed, it wouldn't have happened.

I vehemently disagree. I think it was a cheap shot because McGehee was pissed off that he got hit in his AB. If he were simply trying to break up the double play, he wouldn't go cleat first into Aybar's shin/knee. The feed was bad, but the slide was worse.

Looks like a pretty typical take the second baseman out slide. I dont think he was trying to hurt him.

its not a dirty hit , reason aybar got hurt is because he had to reach for the throw and was off balance when he got hit
