Hard to say. He had two guys in position to receive the cross, I think. And the angle was horrible for a shot. You never know, though.

I never said it was cheap. I just said it was preventable. I think that if some of the defenders tried harder, they could have gotten in the way of some of those passes. It was fine football from the Brazilians, but the North Koreans just watched passes be made. A simple ballsy challenge at many different points could have prevented the goal.

 

I'm surprised that North Korea was able to score, even though it is too little too late.

Very surprised Spain went down today. Wow.

 

Glad to see Japan upset Cameroon a few days ago. That was pretty cool. It was their first ever World Cup win not on Japanese soil. I fully expected them to finish last in their group, but they're off to a great start.

Wow, Nigeria was controlling the game against Greece and one of their players shoved a guy out of bounds and got red carded and Greece tied it before the half. Stupid move by the Nigerian.
