Yes I would. I'm indifferent to soccer. I played as a youth and it was fun. But I did not grow up with it being part of the culture of my environment, as I did with basketball, football, and baseball.

 

It's a great game with players that have to be athletic. But the field is so big and there is so much unproductive running back and forth with only a few moments of excitement and "action". I don't think it translates well to TV.

 

MLS has a team 6 miles from my house (The Revolution). I have no interest in going to a game. Especially when I'd have to pay Bob Kraft $40. to park and $9. for a beer.

Speaking of air horns and the national anthem. I attended my Son's HS graduation Tuesday night. After the marching band played the national anthem, 4000 people applauded.

 

I was thought that applauding after our national anthem was disrespectful. Yet everyone does it now.

 

Also, some ass hole sitting behind me and about 4 seats to the left kept blasting an air horn ever time one of his friends names was called. I wanted to go all John Belushi on his ass.

I can't wait for tomorrow. Four years I have been waiting for this. I know Team USA will make us proud. Ive started a blog if any of you want to read the posts Ive made. Its about 5 or so. Ill be in NYC watching the game. I hope its a good one.
