Have no class? Sounds like your just being a sore loser. What would like them to just sit there all catatonic after they win. They were a team that was supposed to be another notch in the UK belt. They have all the reason in the world to be celebrating and acting like crazy people. I watched the game and they were nothing but classy during the game. As for the fouls Cousins was acting on a lot.

 

 

Y213. I figured losing one of their key ball handlers and handing off to Mazzula during the middle of the tourney would hurt. Guess i was wrong. They play a clean game of basketball. Plus how can Suns say that UK got screwed by the refs. They were the benefit of TWO Back court violation calls.

Kentucky shouldn't have played West Virignia in this stage of the tournament because the committee said that West Virignia could have been a # 1 seed, which means that the strongest #2 goes to the weakest # 1 which was syrcause and Kentucky should have got Kansas State in their bracket.

I just learned that Curtis Shaw will be retiring this year and will be head of big 10 officials. Also he used to be a SEC official but then he got suspended for flipping off some Auburn fans. Then he threw out the florida atlantic mascot.

I don't care about who wins to be truthful. But I have nothing against Duke. They have smart players and most of them actually graduate. Which I think is good. Plus my Father taught there.

Why don't you look at your 4/32 (12.5%) from 3, 15 missed free throws, and 16 turnovers for the real reasons you lost this game? Unbelievable stats for a regional final.

 

I'm sorry Dickie V ... UK is a lot of things but "Great shooting team" is not one of them. Try "well paid"

 

4 potential lottery picks and the overall #1 player in the country and you can't get to the Final Four. No adjustments by Cal and no coaching. He looked like an out of control and whining child out there. His team played like it too. He's not a big game coach. Look at the last 5 years.

 

1) He should have been pressing every minute Mazzulla was out of the game. That was a no brainer yet he waited until under 3 minutes left to press.

 

2) His guys played no D at all. Wall especially was so concerned with getting out on transition that he let Mazzulla - who literaly cant shoot outside shots - get multiple lay ups and getting to the rim untouched. That was inexcusable on every level.

Unfortunately that won't happen. Tennesee was upset by #4 Baylor and became the first #1 to fall. As much as I'd rather have Uconn defeat Tennessee themselves, I'm equally happy that Tennessee is eliminated nonetheless.

Stat of the Day: Izzo is 15-3 on the 2nd day of an NCAA Tournament weekend. The three losses were to #1 seeds. Incredible tournament coach.

The Maryland-Michigan State game is even more frustrating now. Had Maryland pulled it off they would have had a relatively easy (not actually 'easy', but they would be the top seed in both games) road to the Final Four. Oh well, hopefully they go further in the next four years.

Two things

 

1. Uconn doesn't have much/anything against Kentucky. I'm a huge Uconn fan and I have nothing against Kentucky.

 

2. CoachC is a fan of Syracuse and Florida.

I had Kansas winning, but I had West Virginia making it to the finals. I was already screwed anyway, but considering the way this tournament turned out and that 2 #5 seeds or worse will make the Final Four, then I think that getting the other 2 spots right is pretty good.

I will root for all Big East teams in the tournament (except Georgetown), and it's just fans like you that make me dislike Kentucky - along with Calimari and just the personalities on this years UK team.
