Thank God I had Kansas losing in the next round anyway. I never could trust Kansas after they lost in the first round to Bucknell and Bradley in back to back years. It hurt me when they won the title 2 years ago, but it didn't hurt me now. So much for rocking chalk jayhawk.

Kansas losing saved my bracket. I was the only one who had them losing in round 2.

Round 1 I had 2 e8 teams out and 1 f4 team out (GTown).

Kansas losing put me back in the game.

While I had Kansas losing in the next round, I had Villanova losing at the right time. The problem is, that I had Richmond beating St. Mary's and then Richmond beating Nova. So even though my ballsy call of Villanova losing at that time was right, the fact that I had the wrong #7/#10 eliminates any points I would have gotten. F***.

It's actually interesting to note that while the men's bracket has been unpredictable and tumultuous' date=' that there hasn't been a single upset in the Women's basketball tournament thus far.[/quote']

That's not exactly a surprise. In women's basketball the higher seeds always win. You can predict the Final Four before the season starts most of the time. It sucks, which is why no one watches. There's nothing interesting about it, especially given that you know who's going to win pretty much every game.

The higher seeds don't always win, but there are certainly less upsets because there's a larger disparity between the good teams, the amazing teams, and the rest. Besides, that's not the reason why nobody watches women's basketball. Nobody watches women's basketball because it's women's basketball.

Well yeah, I'm just saying it sucks + there's no suspense as in who's going to win. You can go all chalk and win almost every game. Why are we talking about women's hoops again? Lets just end it right here.

Absolute domination by the Big Red against one of the better defenses in college basketball. If the shooting continues to be lights out then I think we have a real good chance vs. Kentucky.

Go Big Red!

I was about to post to ask how people see the Cornell - Kentucky match-up.

People tend to disregard Ivy League teams. That's too bad. An argument could be made that Princeton and Harvard should have been in the tourney too.

Do you go to Cornell?

Yes

Generally people disregard ivy league teams because they normally just aren't that good, but this year in particular there happens to be two very legitimate teams (Cornell and Princeton). Princeton played Cornell extremely well in both games and probably could have made a case for a low-seeded bid in the tournament this year.

Wow' date=' I thought that MSU was killing Maryland. I guess they must have come back in order to have made it close.[/quote']

Maryland had an insane comeback to took the 1 point lead with little time left, great game. Im pissed Maryland lost, but nothing you can do. Props to Michigan state.

No disrespect to Cornell, as they have been very impressive, but I'd be very surprised if Cornell even keeps it within single digits. Cornell could always shoot the lights out, but I expect run out after run out from Kentucky.
