yeah, Im not saying you are wrong I just think that while both teams are fairly evenly matched the Yanks have the pitching advantage in all but game 3, (Hamels>Pettite) and the yanks bullpen is much better and they have an established closer (must I really point out just how "established Mo is?") and the Phillies...dont.

Hamels has not been better than Pettitte in this post-season' date=' not at all. He's been awful for pretty much the entire season.[/quote']

DAMNITT dont argue with me when im saying your team will win the WS!!!

yes Hammels has had a rough year, so we'll say all three starters go the yankees way, this just further proves what I said.

But, I think the Phillies offense will win the WS for them....:dunno::dunno:

I am not so sure Cliff Lee Vs. C.C Sabbathia is in favor of either team?:dunno:

compare Cliff Lee's AL numbers this year and compare CCs for that same period of time and I think its clear that CC is better, CC had done great in a much tougher Division in the AL and Cliif wasn't spectacular this year until he landed in Philly.

Lee had a lower ERA with Cleveland than he did with Philadelphia.

I've shown this fact in like 13 different threads and people still say that he "made his year in Philly". Jesus Christ.

His time in Philadelphia was so streaky. Everyone only remembers how incredible he was in his first handful of starts there. They don't remember the slump he went into.

I still think Fat Sabby vs Lee is a wash though. They can both dominate.

whatever' date=' what do Lee's numbers look like this year compared to CC's?[/quote']

Lee:

231. IP, 3.22 ERA, 181 K, 43 BB, 17 HR, 1.24 WHIP.

CC:

230 IP, 3.37 ERA, 197 K, 67 BB , 18 HR, 1.14 WHIP.

CC was clearly the most dominant pitcher amirite?

yeah, I have to admit, I did not realize how well Lee has pitched, I was wrong, it happens, so I will say game 1 is a wash yankee's have the advantage in 2 and I personally think that game 3 is a wash too, but the yanks have the better all around bullpen and a slightly better offense, so edge goes to the yanks.

I think through 6 innings it very well may be a wash. I think CC is more equipped to go deeper into the game than Lee, especially since I expect the yankee lineup to be more patient on a whole. But this game may very well be decided by the bullpens

Of course you do.

Cliff Lee: 6 CG, 2 SHO.

CC: 2 CG, 1 SHO.

Clear advantage in the "Better equipped to go the distance" goes to Sabathia.

Michelle Obama's thighs are larger than Dipre's!

I was about to say she has a nice ass too.
