The Philly GM has gotten his team to back to back World Series. He's doing a pretty good job.

If this is your argument, then we've got nothing else to discuss.

Does that honestly make a difference?

If they have good at bats and can put up some runs at the end of a game where they've looked horrible? I'd say so.

A few good swings against a tiring pitcher would hardly make me optimistic.

LEE'S MORE EXPERIENCED GUYS DON'T FIGHT A FIGHT U CAN'T WIN.
Do you see any rookies playing for either team. These are the two best teams in baseball (and by a lot). There are no rookies out there. When the yanks brought in a rookie from the pen, he s*** himself.

JA Happ has been invaluable for the Phillies.

And Bucholz pitched well for the Sox, you're just talking for the sake of talking.

Lol, I'm actually optimistic that they'll hit Pedro. However, if they don't, I would be shocked if they were able to win the series after falling behind 0-2.

The Red Sox are not in this World Series... are they? They didn't even make it to the ALCS. Haap will not get a start in this World Series.

That's as good an outing as you will ever see in a World Series game. I've only seen a handful of better World Series games, with Gibson's 1968 game 1 at the top of the list.
