I think that he will be consulting a team of Psychiatrists to help him cope with this situation, but I am betting that he suffers some sort of pschic break during Spring Training.

if anyone has experience in dealing with scandals already' date=' its A-Rod[/quote']Diddling Madonna, sunbathing in Central Park, and pictures with strippers don't compare to scandals involving his profession. BTW, in the past, his performance has suffered when he had been the target of negative fan reaction.

There should be an E for ...other....as in blame Joe Torre or Canseco or Bonds or Sheffield?

no way this guy stands up for whats right, hes simply not capable.

how many yanks have now tested positive?

with arods 500 image consultants all in the bunker this should be amusing as to how this ends up.

Anyone actually take it look at his stats for 2003? They where actually worse then his 2002 season.

As far as this steroid issue goes, sports/baseball is a form of entertainment, seems how I have no personal connection to any of these guys, I'm not sure I really care if anyone used anymore. I think the names should come out, so that the players who didn't use don't get grouped in with the players who did.

As far as numbers and records go, it seems pitchers and hitters where using(not all, but from now on I'll lean more toward the majority was using instead of a minority of players), which seemingly would make it a level playing field.

I think Maddux is the only player I know feel comfortable saying was likely not a user. Which in turn makes his accomplishments seem that much greater. To be throwing out ERA's under 2 in the middle of the steroid era is amazing.

As far as the poll goes, I think it could go either way, he could use this as motivation, or he could crumble under the scrutiny of it all. Only time will tell.

I guess in the end we all need to remember this is entertainment, a game we are talking about here, this isn't life or death situations we are debating.

And for all the Sox fans loving every minute of this, don't forget this isn't always going to be just Yankees players. You never know who will be named next. Some of your favorite players might be outed at some point, so just remember that when taunting other people.

Some how i think manny was above it all

his hr #s havent gone up or down and have pretty much been consistant every year

the other guy im not sure about and the pitchers?well the pitchers have every incentive to heal fast.

I agree Manny doesn't seem like he used, but if it comes out he did, the shock value will not be high for me personally.

First off, ARod is not going to crack and cry. Think about it. Yankee fans hated him when he first got here and sucked. He was getting booed at home worse than he was on the road. And he didnt crack up and cry. He got through it and won 2 MVPs. So I think he'll get through this. I would be surprised to see the names of the players on the rest of the list though. They are skewering ARod here, but there are 103 more names that will eventually leak out. I am expecting some big ones to make the list as well as ARod. So we'll see. Like I said, I have become numbed to the steroid issue and dont really care anymore. They all do it or have done it at some time IMO and nobody is clean. The chemists are always 2-3 yrs ahead of the testers and as long as big money awaits those who succeed and nothing awaits those who dont, then they'll keep injecting, swallowing and drinking roids.

Also, if I were ARod, I'd be suing the living s*** out of Gene Orza and the players association. The evidence from this testing period was supposed to be destroyed. But Orza held on to it in hopes of messing with the numbers so he could get out of manditory testing. Instead, he held onto it long enough for the feds to get wind of it and subpeona it. The agreement was for this to be completely annonymous and for it to be destroyed post test. Orza f***ed up. And he should not only be fired, but be sued for the damage he has done to ARod and what he'll due to the rest of the players on this list.

I wouldn't put Manny above reproach.

Repeated hamstring and muscle injuries, increased size, reduced flexibility.

ARod's numbers are awfully consistent as well. No one is safe from speculation.

He could rationalize the prior booing as the reaction of fickle fans. This is much different. This exposes him as a cheater and a fraud. It has nothing to do with the fans. If he hits a HR the doubts about him will not be dispelled. The doubts may increase. Every press member will be hounding him for details looking to scoop each other. This will be like nothing that he has ever faced.

Maybe in the regular season he was able to get through it but not the post season

And there is a difference of cheating on his wife with strippers or Madonna, compared to testing positive for steroids

I'm going to go on record and say he's going to have a monster year, much closer to 2007 than 2008 in terms of production. Reason?

That's it.There's nothing left.

He's lost his wife due to a divorce. His contract situation is squared away. He really can't be booed anymoe than he has. His stats have lost credibility with a lot of people due to his involvement with PEDs. The only thing left for him to do is to win. To take his team to the Wold Series and win it. I believe that he sees that now, and that's it for him.

You know, this guy hasn't had much luck under the gun. Bad playoff performance and being dropped to 8th, a failed marriage in a scandalous turn of events involving a stipper and then Madonna, his obsession with Jeter...it's one thing after another.

At this point, I believe he'll see October as just another baseball game. He's been through worse.

Seeing as how A-Rod has a track record of folding under pressure and he will now be under more pressure and scrutiny than ever before, I'd say it's a safe bet his numbers will be down.

It was much better when the drug of choice was cocaine. I think it's time for MLB to give Keith Hernandez and Dave Parker front office jobs.

Gom' date=' how has he been through worse? Admitting to being a juicer i[b']s bigger than him cheating on his wife[/b], or lack of hitting in October

Tell that to his daughters
