It's obvious that Cashman cheated. He is bribing the opposing team's pitchers to groove it to Nady.

Don't bring that s*** in here. I didn't read much of that thread but from what I can tell, it sparked some heated argument that we don't really need in the GT. But hey, who the f*** am I?

Obviously anyone familiar with my posts knows I was sarcastic about our captain. Hopefully this is his last season with us.

Be careful what you wish for. He's one of the best catchers in baseball at framing pitches. If your team ERA goes up half a point next year, you'll know why. Us Yankee fans are seeing the opposite, and most of them are now realizing what I knew to begin with. Losing Posada was the best thing that happened to this team.

Obviously it is a rarity for a guy hitting .220' date=' but he did have a good night tonight, so there is no reason to crack on him tonight. If everyone had been on base 3 times they would be winning this game.[/quote']

It is not for tonight - Tek has been the biggest liability with bat - someone whom we can't bench.

Your problem isn't Tek. It's centerfield like it is with us. If you were getting the production you were hoping for, you could carry Tek.

I'll go on the record for saying that even though he's a Sox, and your captain, I like Tek.

And your brilliant manager gave the aging catcher a great deal last year.

Do I dare say what our GM did? LOL!

I've never seen David Ortiz so late on a 91 mph fastball

I'd still put more money on him putting the ball out of here than any other Sox hitter just now.

Disagree - Pedroia is most clutch at this moment.

Youk, maybe? Hey, he's next if Papi doesn't GIDP. Could be nice. Probably not, but could be.

is Kansas City usually this jacked up for a game?? These fans are crazy

They're being treated to a good one -- at least from their perspective.

EDIT: Drat. At least he advanced the runners. Base hit ties it.
