Since you can see it, how is he tipping it off?

The hitters aren't right on everything. They are on his FB when he misses location. This is why I called him ClAAAy. He needs to refine his FB command in Pawtuckett, where wins/losses don't really matter.

When he throws the curveball he just lets it fly everything else he hesitates swallows hard watch next inning.

Even if you are right....you think thats not something he can fix? Because he has a slight hestiation you don't think John Farrell would see it and bring it to his attention...

They didn't show his face in the Figgins AB, so I didn't get to have the same homoerotic fantasy. Needless to say, he threw 3 different pitches for the first 3, and from behind there was no hesitation.

Ha Figgins just worked Buchholtz over there. Tipping pitches.

4 K's on the curve. Why do they swing if they know it's coming?

What's up with the hack attack tonight? Lackey's good, but he's not on. Mathis' glove is moving a shitload.

Not on? Dude is dominating right now. Got to give him credit he's the ace of the best team in baseball. I will wait till tomorrow to judge the offense when they actually have a chance with a real pitcher like Beckett going. Not some Fluke who can't even beat the Mariners.

This game sucks huge cock so far.

It does. Still, nothing, not even this game, sucks as much as BOY's posts, so we've got that going for us.

I think I did give him credit. I said he's good. Now you get an assignment. Watch the Angel's catcher's glove next inning. Tell me if it moves to receive the ball.

Some of the things you guys say out of emotion is ridiculous. Cora is having one of his best seasons this year. Hell, I am pretty damn pleased that we have backup infielder who is hitting .288 overall and .333 at the Fens. He is a key component to our team. I am just as pissed as anyone else about how we are playing after the All-Star break, but it's not Cora's fault. In case whoever is criticizing Cora didn't notice, there are eight other guys in the lineup that aren't hitting Lackey.

Dude, how's the pink hat treating you?

He's lost quite a step defensively.

Cora is a **** and needs to be cut immediately...his .288 average is directly fueled by like 3 good games.

It's unreal how close I am to using my ignore list for the first time ever. I don't believe in ignoring though - I feel like someone's stupidity should be called out; this is the only reason I still read the posts.

Key component? Please stop. He's the backup MIF. The backup MIF's job is to be a good defender. Cora is, but only on the balls hit within his drunken slug range. He's a statue out there. The fact that he can occaisionally get on base is nice, but what's the point if he can't do his primary job?

Your right about the glove moving. But we have a top notch lineup Velocity is working for Lackey.

our defense has been the problem tonight...not Clay Buchholz

JD Drew took an interesting route to that fly ball

I don't know if your post was in response to mine, but I'll just go on the record and say that I was just pointing out a positive and not blaming anything whatsoever on Clay tonight.

EDIT: It was actually probably in response to BOY.
