Well you can't expect to put many runs on the board when you have Cora, Lugo, Hinkse, and Mirabelli starting... Tito should have done a better job putting a competitive lineup out there.

Ted just refuses to give Lugo any praise whatsoever. He just dislikes him because he's not a "good" baseball player. His dislike gets in the way of him rooting for his own players.

 

Ted would probably have a hard time rooting for A-Rod if he wore a Boston uniform next year.

What's everyone's problem? If Francona was perfectly willing to punt this game and lose it by not pinch hitting Tek and Drew then no one else should be upset, either.

 

 

BTW, it's coming to the point for me where I can't root for Drew anymore. His ass needs to be in the lineup tomorrow night. f*** Francona's JV lineups. Space out days of rest instead of having 1/3 of your lineup be JV.

There is no reason why there should ever be 3 bench players starting in the lineup in one game (assuming a healthy staff). That was Tito's first mistake. His second was not pinch hitting for 2 bench players with Tek, Drew, and WMP on the bench.

Regardless of the lineup tito gave us today, there is no excuse on the players behalf to only score 1 run on toronto pitching

Today's game sure was frustrating, but at least we have the next 7 at home vs KC and Chicago. At the minimum we should take 5 of 7.
